Hi everyone, hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

My family stayed home, considering everyone except Mom was sick.



The illness took the usual route: Jessi --> Gaby --> Papa

Now, the day AFTER Christmas, we all feel much better! Darn it.

It's my favorite day of the year. Christmas day loses the anticipation, yknow?

It's too bad I'm SICK!
And I've been sick since Saturday night!

Fever, rash (quite unsightly), ear ache, sore throat, swollen lymph nodes.... misery....

Yea, I'm not happy about getting sick 2 days after arriving home. Especially considering the flu pandemic we had at school and I was not sick ONCE (except for a sore throat a few weeks ago).

So you guys won't see me for christmas :(
And I won't get to eat my usual double portions of food because I don't have an appetite!

Home for the holidays

I got home Thursday evening.

Ithacaaaaaa.

I got a ride home with friends of mine who are graduate students at Cornell. They were going to Boston so I hitched a ride. Worked out well, we stopped in NYC.






I've never been to NYC before! We didn't really get close to the cool stuff, but it still looked beautiful from far away :)
I'm happy.

I'm home and stuffing my face~

I'll start working at the hospital again, so keep an eye out for my sister and I romping around together.

Cookie time~

So we baked cookies today, the the Eco House kitchen (which is LOVELY by the way!)


And then residents ate most of our cookies when we left the kitchen.

DO STUDENTS HAVE ANY MANNERS OR RESPECT?!?!?!?

NO!!!!

I was royally pissed off. Especially considering how protective I am of my food :)

So I've got nothing new to say to you guys.

However I did find a picture of a very pretty bird today.



It's a plum-headed parakeet.

And yes, that's all I have for you guys today. This weekend will be eventful however. I think I'll bake cookies with friends tomorrow to chill after taking some finals, and then there is a milonga tomorrow night also. I was also invited to a theater performance so I might go to that also~

One weekend until I go home (the 17th), and it's the last weekend of the semester so HAPPY TIME!
